About PeplowPC
PeplowPC provides technology training and consulting, including workshops on IT, AI, information security, and operational technology. The site describes these services and lets you contact me or plan a workshop.
Educational information only
Content on this site and in workshops is general educational information. It is not legal, financial, or insurance advice, and it is not a security assessment of your systems. Training can reduce risk, but no training or advice can guarantee that you or your organization will never be affected by a scam, breach, or other incident.
Quotes and bookings
Submitting a form does not create a contract. Prices are quoted after a free intro call, and any workshop or service is governed by a separate written agreement or quote. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement controls.
Your use of the site
Please use the site lawfully. Don’t try to break into, overload, scrape, or disrupt it, and don’t submit false, harmful, or spam content through the forms. If you find a security issue, I appreciate a heads-up at james@peplowpc.com. Please report it privately and don’t access data that isn’t yours.
Content and materials
The text, design, graphics, and workshop materials on this site belong to PeplowPC unless noted otherwise. You may share the free handouts, like the Phish Fry cheat sheet, for personal or internal non-commercial use as long as you keep the PeplowPC name on them. Any other use needs written permission. Example scam messages on this site are made up for training and use fictional names.
Links to other websites
The site may link to outside websites. I don’t control them and am not responsible for their content or practices.
No warranties
The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, I make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that the site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or always up to date.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, PeplowPC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the site will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Illinois.
